Dars-e-Quran

Abu Hurayra (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah) said:

'No community gathers in a mosque from the mosques of Allah reciting the Qur'an and teaching it to one another except tranquility descends upon them, mercy covers them, the angels surround them and that Allah mentions them to those (angels) found in His presence.' (Sahih Muslim)

 

In 1978 Dr. Allama Mohammad Shahid Raza Na'imi began a Dars-e-Quran programme where each Sunday he would conduct a detailed analysis and commentary of the Holy Qur'an.

35 years later, Allama Sahib completed his brilliant and groundbreaking commentary of the Qur'an on Sunday 28th July 2013.

To celebrate this incredible achievement, a Jalsa (Gathering) will be held on

Saturday 5th October after Magrib Salaah (6:35PM)
