Ramadhan Daytime Boys Itakaaf - 2008
The Islamic Centre is proud to present a special Ramadhan daytime Itakaaf for boys.
Register now for this unique educational experience.
Itakaaf is a period of reflection, meditation and education; an opportunity to shut out the world and focus on our religion. For this reason the Islamic Centre has chosen this format as a tool for educating our young.
The itakaaf will be 8 hours of spiritual education free from worldly distractions. The participants will enjoy lectures, seminars, competitions, practical exercises and workshops on a wide range of topics.
Every participant will receive an Itakaaf pack containing educational material to work from and take home as well as a certificate of achievement.
Small group workshops ensure that the participants gain maximum benefit from interacting with our trained group leaders.
Subject areas will include:
- The message of Ramadhan
- Importance of fasting
- Importance of Salah
- Importance of education
- The role of the Mosque in a Muslims life
- Being a good Muslim
