Abdullah ibn Mas’ud (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said,
‘When someone recites one letter from the Holy Qur’an he will get one good deed in recompense and this one recompense will be equal to ten good deeds. I do not say Alif Laam Meem is a letter, but Alif  is a letter, Laam is a letter and Meem is a letter.’ (Sunan Tirmidhi)

Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said,
‘Whoever goes to a mosque in the morning or evening (for prayers), Allah arranges a feast for him in Paradise every time he visits in the morning or evening.’
(Sahih Bukhari & Sahih Muslim)

Abu Sa’id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said,
‘When you notice a person regularly visiting a mosque, then testify his faith (i.e. him being a Mu’min) for Allah. For indeed Allah said [in the Qur’an] ‘Only those who believe in Allah and the Last Day attend the mosques of Allah’ (9:18)
(Sunan Tirmidhi)

Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said,
‘As long as you stay in the mosque waiting for (congregational) prayer and are held up there only for the sake of prayer, and only this prevents you from returning home, you will be treated as continuously in prayer.’
(Sahih Bukhari & Sahih Muslim)

Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said,
‘Reward for the prayer of a male person said in congregation (in the mosque) is twenty-five times more than the prayer offered at home or in the bazaar. This is so because when he has carried out his ablution thoroughly, and goes to mosque with the intention of offering prayer, then for each step he takes, his position is upgraded by one stage, and he gets one sin remitted; and when he is engaged in praying, the angels continue praying for mercy for him, and this goes on as long as he stays on the prayer carpet, and remains with ablution. The angels pray, ‘O Allah! Shower blessings on him! O Allah! Have mercy on him!’ And as long as he waits for congregational prayer, he is considered as in prayer.’
(Sahih Bukhari & Sahih Muslim)

Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said,
‘The five daily prayers and Friday prayer to the next Friday prayer and the keeping of fasts from one Ramadhan to the next atone all minor sins during this period so long as major sins are avoided.’
(Sahih Muslim)

Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said,

(Sahih Muslim)

Sahl ibn Sa’d (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said,
‘There is a gate in Paradise known as ar-Rayhaan through which only fasting persons will enter on the Day of Judgement, and no one else. It will be said, ‘where are the fasting persons?’ They will come forward. No one will enter except them. After they shall have entered, the gate will be closed and no one else will enter thereafter.’ (Sahih Bukhari & Sahih Muslim)

It is narrated by Abu Huraira (may Allah Almighty be pleased with him) that the blessed messenger of Allah Almighty said,
‘Indeed your Lord (Almighty) says, ‘The reward of every good action is between 10 times its amount to 700 times its amount, (however), the fast is (solely) for me, and I alone will reward it, and the fast is a shield from the fire of hell. The odour from the mouth of the fasting man is more fragrant to Allah Almighty than musk. If an ignorant man speaks foul to any one from amongst you who is fasting then say, ‘I am fasting’”. (Sahih Bukhari)

Speaking to the companions, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) once said:
‘Shall I not tell you of something that is the best of all deeds, constitutes the best act of piety in the eyes of your Lord, will elevate your status in the hereafter, and carries more virtue than the spending of gold and silver in the service of Allah, or taking part in Jihad and slaying or being slain in the path of Allah?’
The companions begged to be informed of such an act. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied: ‘The Zikr (remembrance) of Almighty Allah.’
(Sunan Tirmidhi)

Abu Huraira (may Allah almighty be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said,
‘There are seven people who Allah (Almighty) will offer his shade to on the day when there will be no shade except his shade; the just leader, a person whose youth was spent in the worship of Allah (Almighty), a man whose heart is attached to the mosque, the two men who meet for the love of Allah and separate for the love of Allah, a man who was invited by a wealthy and beautiful woman (towards evil) and (refused) saying ‘I fear Allah Almighty’, a man who offers Sadaqah (charity) so discreetly that the right hand does not know what the left has spent, a person who remembers Allah (Almighty) in solitude and his eyes become tearful.’
(Sahih Muslim)

Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
‘I swear by Allah he is not a believer, I swear by Allah he is not a believer, I swear by Allah he is not a believer.’ The Companions asked ‘and who is he O Prophet of Allah?’ The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied, ‘he whose neighbour is not at peace with his companionship.’
(Musnad Ahmed)

Abu Sa’id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

The Companions asked, ‘O Messenger of Allah!’ How will our Salah be conveyed to you when you are buried in the earth?’ The Prophet answered, ‘Allah has forbidden the earth from devouring the bodies of the prophets.’
(Sunan Abu Daud)

Abu Malik al-As’hari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
