Maulana Shahid Raza has been honoured with an OBE in the Queen’s New Year Honours List for his services to the Muslim Community.
All those who attend the Islamic Centre or live in Leicester will know of his incredible hard work and commitment in serving the Muslim community. His true reward for such dedication lies with Allah (SWT) but such a positive acknowledgement for a Muslim leader is excellent news for British Muslims.
