Subject 05: Messengers of Allah

Summary:

Messengers are the intermediaries between Allah and His servants. They perform a crucial role in passing Allah's commands on to us, and their lives are an example for us to follow.

Over the next two subjects, we will look at:

  • The difference between a Nabi and Rasul
  • What attributes are necessary for them, such as truthfulness and immunity from sin.
  • The number of prophets.
  • The finality of Muhammad, peace be upon him.
  • Bashariyya al-Rasul: can we refer to prophets as humans?
