The Islamic Centre is proud to present a special Ramadhan daytime Itakaaf for boys and girls.

Itakaaf is a period of reflection, meditation and education; an opportunity to shut out the world and focus on our religion. For this reason the Islamic Centre has chosen this format as a tool for educating our young.

The itakaaf will be 4 hours of spiritual education free from worldly distractions. The participants will enjoy lectures, seminars, competitions, practical exercises and workshops on a wide range of topics. 

Small group workshops ensure that the participants gain maximum benefit from interacting with our trained group leaders.

Subject areas will include:

• The message of Ramadhan
• Importance of fasting
• Importance of Salah
• Importance of eating halaal food
• The role of the Mosque in a Muslims life
• Being a good Muslim
